Role in the Project
The HUJI is responsible for WP I and is also involved in WP III. In WP I, the team will study corruption and countermeasures, especially weaponized cross-border corruption, to assess its impact across political regimes and its influence on public integrity globally. A HUJI-organized conference will delve into corruption’s historical aspects, resulting in a detailed report. WP III involves HUJI analyzing cross-border undue influence and state-driven corruption, identifying prevalent mechanisms and evaluating state and international responses. This includes a case study analysis within the MENA region, focusing on defense effectiveness against such practices and the international community’s anti-corruption role.
